Motherhood

Depending on the day, this is how I feel about being a mom...

"The best thing a girl can be is a good wife and mother. It is a girl's highest calling. I hope I am ready."
— Nancy E. Turner (These Is My Words: The Diary of Sarah Agnes Prine, 1881-1901 : A Novel)

"Motherhood is near to divinity. It is the highest, holiest service to be assumed by mankind."
— Howard W. Hunter

"There is eternal influence and power in motherhood."
— Julie B. Beck

"I looked on child rearing not only as a work of love & duty but as a profession that was fully as interesting & challenging as any honorable profession in the world and one that demanded the best that I could bring to it."
— Rose Kennedy

"Thus far the mighty mystery of motherhood is this: How is it that doing it all feels like nothing is ever getting done."
— Rebecca Woolf

Becky, I am so relating to that last quote. I feel like I am always moving and doing something...and yet it seems like nothing ever gets done! I would also never trade it for anything in the world. What an honor to be a mom!

I have been known to tell Mike that it isn't because it is MY way, it is because it is the RIGHT way (which just happens to be MY way most of the time).

Love these Quotes Becky. Julie Beck's quote reminds me how much influence we have on our kids...good and bad! Makes me want to be better.
I love being a Mom and wouldn't trade it for anything...even on the "hard" days that I have so many of :]
Wish we all lived closer, I bet you are such a fun lil' Mom.
