I can't believe my baby is 6 years old. Gracie had a birthday last Sunday when we were in Pocatello. She came in our room that morning and said, "I'm 6 now, look how tall I am!". She is getting to be so grown up and sometimes I forget how old and grown up she is. Sometimes I don't realize that she doesn't need me as much as she used to, which she is always happy to remind me of. On the other hand, sometimes I forget that she is not so grown up that she doesn't need my snuggles and loves anymore, which she is also good to remind me of. Gracie is such a happy, smart girl. She is such a big helper with her brothers and sisters. She is naturally very maternal and is so good with baby Naomi. Every day she says, "I can't believe how cute Naomi is!!". Gracie is now reading very well for her age and just started playing on a soccer team. She is all about having fun and has such an infectious laugh. I am so happy Grace is a part of our family. Our life would be much less bright without her in it. She is so special. I love you, Gracie! Happy Birthday!
(Ray took all these pics without a flash, nice...)

Grandma made this special frosting for Grace, it is called "fluffy white (we made pink) frosting". Grace raved over it!

Skip around the room! Skip around the room! We won't stop 'till you skip around the room!
(she did it, she really skipped around the room!)

I can't believe how fast she's growing up. She's getting so tall and skinny. (I feel like I'm saying that about all of my nieces and nephews these days, but I guess that's what happens when they're no longer toddlers.)
Grace is such a sweetheart and really is such a good big sister. She's so much fun, making up games for all of the kids to play and even including little Maggie. Her laugh is so cute and contagious. I'm so happy I got to celebrate her sixth birthday with her. And she did skip around the room! Twice!! (I think Uncle Matt might have been the only other person to do that. ;-)
I love you, Gracie!
Leslie, you were so lucky to be there!!! She's so beautiful and I cannot BELIEVE she's 6 years old now!!!! What a sweet sweet girl. I'm glad I at least got to talk to her on her b-day. I love you Grace, hope you had the most wonderful 6th birthday ever! :)
(Were those candles at mom's house? I think I bought them for Colby or Eva's birthday.)
Becky, You said Grace helps take care of her brotherS and sisters. I was only aware of one brother - is this an announcement? Elliot does need a brother you know. No pressure, I'm just sayin'.
I love Grace's smile. Mostly, I love that she loves her Grandpa.
WOW, Grace is 6?!? That is crazy! She really does look grown up. What a cute little girl!! All of your kids are adorable, I love the new pics of Naomi. She's getting big, too!
Your grandma is the sweetest lady in the world. I love how everytime I see her she acts like we're long lost friends. Looks like you guys pulled off a great surprise party!
