My kids are adorable....and it was the first day of school :)

Time sure does fly. I can't believe my kids are getting so old and grown up. It seems like just yesterday we were here...

And now we are here...

(I swear all I did was blink...*sigh*, *sniff*)

Tuesday was the first day of school. Elliot was completely thrilled beyond belief to get to go to school all day.

Grace was mostly excited about the new clothes. :) But she was really excited for school, too.

Pool Time!

This summer we spent a lot of afternoons at the pool. Grandma got the kids a pool pass for Christmas and it was the perfect gift! Grace and Elliot are such good swimmers. They braved the diving board this summer and had both done a flip by the time the pool closed for the fall. Maggie and Naomi are also little fish. Maggie practiced everything she learned in her swimming lessons and she and Naomi spent endless hours jumping off the edge. Tons of our friends also got passes, gotta love Groupon!, so the kids had lots of friends to swim with and I had lots of other moms to hang with! We are blessed to have such an awesome pool so close to us. What a wonderful way to spend the summer!

One last hurrah...

We took one last trip this summer at the beginning of August. We went to Pocatello to see my sister Leslie and her new baby Lola. We were in Pocatello for 5 days, then we all went up to Cascade for a few more days. We had a great time! We got to go to a family reunion in Pocatello with my mom's side of the family. It was so fun! They had a HUGE waterslide that the kids went completely nuts on. The spent hours on that thing!

And then my camera died and my other battery was dead and my charger was at home in Spokane. :( So I didn't get any good pictures of Lola. I guess I'll have to take a trip to Florida to see her again!

But I did have my phone...

Back in Cascade we spent some more time at the lake.
