WOW, congrats to you Becky! NONE of my kids will eat celery unless it's pureed and hidden in soup.
I'm so sorry to hear about the sickness plaguing your little family. And especially Naomi, you're right, there is NOTHING worse than a tiny infant constantly throwing up. Olivia is the puker in my family; it seemed that whenever the kids would get something, it would always hit Liv the hardest, and once, when she was an infant she got really sick while we were in Utah visiting family and we had to take her to Primary Children's Hospital b/c I was worried about dehydration. She just puked & puked until it was nothing but heaving... it was HORRIBLE! I was beside myself upset! I SO hope it passes for Naomi soonl it's so scary when they're that little and they get that sick.
And hang in there with your busy little Maggie! She may be into everything, but she's ADORABLE!!!
WOAH!!! I need to try that!!!! That's amazing Becky! good work. I'm so sorry about all your sick kids. :( That makes me so sad. I said a quick prayer for Naomi before I read she was feeling better. I'm glad it didn't last too long. Did you or Ray get it?
Valerie did not "like' peanut butter or celery until she went to BFF Alexis's house and now she has been asking for it. I always loved the combo, in fact... I am thinking here that I just got celery and we always have PB, what a delightful alternative to "magic cookie bars!" Thanks!
Isn't it the best best feeling when they break down and try something...even better when they actually like it!! You feel like all your mom power has finally won over. You know like your some kind of super hero because your kids ate their veggies! Congrats Becky with the mom power!!!!
"Be kind. Everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle."

"My dear sisters, do not pray for tasks equal to your abilities, but pray for abilities equal to your tasks. Then the performance of your tasks will not be a miracle but you will be the miracle."
~Thomas S. Monson
"The Lord works from the inside out. The world works from the outside in. The world would take people out of the slums. Christ would take the slums out of the people, and then they would take themselves out of the slums. The world would mold men by changing their environment. Christ changes men, who then change their environment. The world would shape human behavior, but Christ can change human nature."
~Ezra Taft Benson
"The more you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go."
~Dr. Suess
"People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of having an ulterior motive. Be kind anyway. If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway. If you find happiness, people may be jealous. Be happy anyway. The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway. Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway. For, you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It never was between you and them anyway." ~Mother Theresa
