We don't usually expect to get a snow day at the end of February, but that is exactly what we got yesterday. We woke up to a good 2 feet of snow that had fallen over night. The kids were so excited. It is the first snow day we have had this year and I'm pretty sure we just had the last day off (last Friday!) that was built in for a snow day make-up, so the kids will be in school an extra day before summer break. But that's alright with me!
Yesterday morning at about 10:30 Grace said, "Hey, I have to go to school!", like we just forgot to send her to school that day. It gave me a good laugh :)
OMG! These look awesome! Next year we will both bring our "nice" cameras and have fun with them... Love that last picture. Did you look up FLorabella? On you tube she does some tutorials too.
How fun, Becky! Your kids are so cute; LOVE the pictures. Makes me want to learn a few things so I can have some super-star photos of my own little darlings!
It was SO GREAT to see you again Bec; you are just a beautiful and fun and hang-able as ever! I had such a great time... can't wait for next year!
Fun times! We had a snow day too but for only about an inch of snow. Yes, we are quite wimpy here in Portland when it comes to snow. Those pics are once again, amazing.
If we hadn't of had 8 snow days this year, I'm sure we would be just as excited! We have a bunch to make up. My kids just looked out and groaned... never thought they'd miss school so much. Or maybe it's because I make them clean...
only kids could find so much joy in something so cold. That last photo should be in a magazine Becky. Seriously good stuff. And, if Naomi gets any cuter, we won't know what to do. Grandpa

"My dear sisters, do not pray for tasks equal to your abilities, but pray for abilities equal to your tasks. Then the performance of your tasks will not be a miracle but you will be the miracle."
~Thomas S. Monson
"The Lord works from the inside out. The world works from the outside in. The world would take people out of the slums. Christ would take the slums out of the people, and then they would take themselves out of the slums. The world would mold men by changing their environment. Christ changes men, who then change their environment. The world would shape human behavior, but Christ can change human nature."
~Ezra Taft Benson
"The more you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go."
~Dr. Suess
"People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of having an ulterior motive. Be kind anyway. If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway. If you find happiness, people may be jealous. Be happy anyway. The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway. Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway. For, you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It never was between you and them anyway." ~Mother Theresa

I love that first picture of Grace! Could a girl be more happy to be playing in the snow?
