**WARNING** obscene amounts of pictures to follow:
2 weeks ago we, meaning me and the kids, took the long drive down to Poky to prepare for my sister Abby's wedding. (Just in case you wanted to be a member of my family, you have officially lost your chance. All the Croshaw kids are now taken for eternity ;) ). It was a crazy whirlwind of a trip. We got there on Wednesday night. It was cousins galore! The kids had so much fun with all of their cousins!

Glowsticks...grandma has the best ideas!!
I got Naomi to leave this cute bow in her hair for about two seconds.
Sweet baby
Thursday was full of preparations that included lots of yard work for the open house on Friday night (which coincidentally was inside because of the rain and cold). On Friday we needed to leave the house with the kids for most of the day. So we found all sorts of fun in Pocatello, Idaho on a cold and rainy day. We went to the mall and played at the playground, we went to see Shrek, The Final Chapter (awesome, loved it), we went to lunch at McDonalds and the kids got to (were forced to) play at the playland for about 2 hours. Luckily, the McD's in Poky was recently remodeled and they have a seriously cool playland. Then we went to Costco and walked around for an hour or so. The open house on Friday was so fun. I got to see lots of friends and family that I hadn't seen for a long time. I never knew that many people could fit in my parent's house, just sayin'. Reinforcements arrived late Friday night when Ray got to Pocatello (can you hear the angels singing?).

One of the two table toppers I made for the open house, go me!
David messing with the kids before the open house...those kids love them some David Chipman!!
The welcoming committee at the open house, they are a rough bunch!
Saturday morning we all got up early and got ready to go to Salt Lake City for the wedding. (I may or may not have had a teensy meltdown that involved throwing the kids clothes everywhere, don't judge.) But we only left a half-hour late and the entire wedding party in the temple only had to wait a few minutes for us to get there. But we made it! Abby and David's temple sealing was so special and I feel so lucky to have been there. They got married here:

It is always a special experience to be in the Salt Lake Temple, or anywhere on Temple Square. There is so much history and significance for those of my faith.
So after the wedding we waited for Abby and David to come out. It was really cold and windy in Salt Lake that day, brrrr!

Cute cousins! I'm sad this picture is a little over exposed because it doesn't get much more adorable than these three!
Grace and Mia, they had so much fun together!
This is where Maggie and Naomi spent most of their time when we were outside, it was cold!!
After all the pictures were taken they had a really nice dinner and a really fun reception! There was so much food, I felt like I was on a cruise ship.
Yes that is a fondue bar, which was served at the reception after the big dinner!
The kids really let loose at the reception after being boxed in all day. I'm sure the candy buffet (that's right) helped to fuel their craziness!

Said candy buffet
There was some serious dancing going on. Elliot took all of us by surprise with his mad dancing skills. I'm not sure where he learned those breakin' moves, but he was seriously cutting a rug. As soon as I can get a video from someone I will post it!
Maggie, mid-twirl
Of course Aunt Dana, the primary president, started a fun dancing game for all the kids.
David's sweet sister Emily dancing with the kids :)
Abby dancing with the kids.
Abby and David doing the highly anticipated chicken dance with the kids...they waited for that ALL day!
Elliot taking a much needed break!
Love those moves, Abby!
David and some little cutie!
Naomi (mercifully) slept for most of the reception, but woke up at the end for some sugar!
My dad and his bff Carl...this is soooo them.
The obligatory cake cutting shot (you like how Elliot snuck in to this one?)...
Getting ready to throw the bouquet...
There it goes!
And the winner is....Emily!!
I couldn't decide which dancing picture to post, so you get them all...
Abby and David ran down the "gauntlet" and out the door when they left the reception, high fives coming from all directions...."Thunderstruck" by (who else) AC/DC was playing loudly in the background, lol.
David picked Abby up and spun her around as they were running down the hall :) (she didn't wear those uber wedged flip flops all day, just for the reception. I wish I would've gotten a pic of her super hot red shoes!)
Ain't love grand? **sigh**

It's fun to see more of your family...thanks for sharing.
Great pictures! Looks like a fun time and I agree. I would have been all about a candy buffet... and the melted chocolate too, actually.
becky i totally understand the melt downs. won't mention when mine was. thanks for reminding me what a really incredible day it was. i love all those photos, especially the kids. wish asher and valerie could have been there. i think the kids will remember this for a long, long time. i know i will. what a wedding day!!! thanks abby and david.
So many great pictures here. I understand the meltdowns, too! I was really shooting for minimal stress on that day, and I mostly succeeded. We just wanted it to be fun for everyone, and we especially wanted the kids to enjoy themselves and feel involved in this special day. That, and we didn't want to run out of food.
Great post Becky
