My mom sent this to me. It describes what it means to be a stay-at-home mom perfectly (in case any of you stay-at-home moms have any friends who want to know what you could possibly do with all of your time). I love Carolyn's answer, I wanted to stand up and cheer!

Some people just don't get it.
Becky, I am SO BEHIND on blog's and OH MY GOSH I'm so glad I picked yours to read today! I am SO STEALING that Carolyn Hax article; that is GOLD!
And, CONGRATULATIONS on your Maui trip, I AM SO JEALOUS!!! Has Angie read this yet? Their 10th was supposed to be in Hawaii... I don't think it happened! Wow Becky. You are so lucky. You've definitely got something to look forward to!
Becky, I love this! So many days I go to bed feeling totally exhausted and frustrated and wondering myself what I did all day. I tell Jez all the time that I feel like I am constantly drained from the kids, but at the same time I can't really explain WHAT I did. Then I realize that most of the time it is not that I cleaned the kitchen, but that I cleaned it 5 times... or I love how she said it takes 45 minutes to do what should normally take 15. It is so true.
Anyway, it is so fun to see pictures of your kids. They are so sweet. We are planning to be in Logan around the 4th of July. Are you guys going to be at your parents? We would love to see you.
And I, like Mary, am so jealous of your upcoming Hawaii trip!! That sounds like so much fun and I can't even remember the last time Jez and I even got to spend a night alone together, I can only imagine how great that will be to spend a whole week alone! Maybe you could send your mom out this way when she leaves your house. :)
Becky I am going to print this article out and read it later when I don't have kids at my heels!
Just wanted to tell you that this past weekend we went up to Logan and went to all three of our houses we lived in. Thie first white house is up for sale. We asked the guys if we could go in.....disgusting!!!!!!How did we ever live there?????????
Brought back so many fond memories of sitting out on the roof and living so carelessly. We took pictures that I will post soon.
When we told the guy that we used to live there we said it was 14 years ago! Ouch!!!!
We old ladies!!!!
Hey you, I found your blog through Angie's. I can't believe you have 4 little ones! They are all so adorable. It was fun to read through your blog and catch up on your and your fam. How fun that you get to spend time with your hubby in Hawaii! I think a fun destination goal is so helpful to get ya looking swim suit ready! Congrats!
