Mouse in My House

You would think with a pest control professional as a husband we wouldn't have this problem, but every once in a while I come into the kitchen to find that a little mouse has been nibbling at my cheese.  It is a really smart mouse because he manages to open the fridge to get it out.  I guess we need to get a lock.  That mouse loves cheese almost as much as Elliot...

that mouse has some good teeth:)

Amazing how the mouse chews the cheeze in such nice, neat rows. That little mouse really likes order. I'm wondering if you also occasionally find other things, like crayons for instance, arranged in neat rows with mouse droppings nearby?

hahaha, great post Becky Jo. Ask that pest control professional husband of yours how we can get rid of sugar ants!!! They are THE most annoying things ever. Somehow, every morning they are in the cup of water on my nightstand. And not to mention all over our kitchen if we ever leave any drops of anything on the counter.

Marychild's comment reminded me of an occasion when Mom and I lived in Verna Lee's apartment during our 3rd year of marriage. Leslie was a toddler. One day I went into the bathroom to wash my hands and there, in the bar of soap, were the perfect marks of two little upper incisors on the top and two lower incisors on the bottom. Unlike Elliot's cheese, for some reason, Leslie had not bitten any further. It was so cute, that I could not use the soap to wash my hands. I think I set it aside for a keepsake for years.
