Love this show! It's the only show out there that I care to see. (except Amer Idol) What is it about Dwight that makes you cringe but just love the guy?
I have heard so many people rave about the Office (ALL my siblings are into it) but I never started watching it b/c I got addicted to too many other shows and already waste too much time blogging as it is! I just can't take on another show when I watch Grey's Anatomy, Brothers & Sisters, Greek, and the documentaries I DVR (I Survived, I Shouldn't Be Alive, and Ghostly Encounters). Anyway, I hear you, it IS so exciting that Fall shows are coming back with all new episodes!
Becky, thanks for the comment you left on my blog regarding my last ranting post. I TOTALLY felt vindicated when hearing that so many other people struggle with Church issues too. I don't really struggle with my testimony of doctrinal issues; sometimes "Church politics" are annoying to me, but my biggest complaint by far is the "Keeping up with the Jones's" pressures that I feel. I am constantly feeling inadequate, and it gets incredibly overwhelming at times, which is why I just poured it all out on Sunday afternoon. I'm better today though, and actually feel like it'll be easier to face next Sunday knowing that I'm not the only person who struggles with the trivial aspects of being an active member with skeletons in her closet!
Becky, I can't tell you how glad I am to have reconnected with you. I wasted way too much time with boyfriends and not enough time with friends in college, and now I almost feel like I'm getting a second chance to have those friendships that I should've spent more time on 13 years ago. Thanks for being there now and giving me support when I need it!
Good luck with the rest of the pregnancy, and happy Office watching!!!
"Be kind. Everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle."
~Marjorie Pay Hinkley
"My dear sisters, do not pray for tasks equal to your abilities, but pray for abilities equal to your tasks. Then the performance of your tasks will not be a miracle but you will be the miracle."
~Thomas S. Monson
"The Lord works from the inside out. The world works from the outside in. The world would take people out of the slums. Christ would take the slums out of the people, and then they would take themselves out of the slums. The world would mold men by changing their environment. Christ changes men, who then change their environment. The world would shape human behavior, but Christ can change human nature."
~Ezra Taft Benson
"The more you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go."
~Dr. Suess
"People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of having an ulterior motive. Be kind anyway. If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway. If you find happiness, people may be jealous. Be happy anyway. The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway. Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway. For, you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It never was between you and them anyway." ~Mother Theresa
