Grace has been cracking me up lately with her little kid grown-up thinking. Here are a couple of examples:
After putting on her temporary tattoos from her kids meal:
Grace: I love my new tattoos. Dad says that tattoos stay on your skin forever.
Mom: Well, these tattoos are called temporary tattoos, so they will wash off your skin in a couple of days.
Grace: Well, we have to get me a real tattoo. I LOVE tattoos!
Uh-oh....
When wrestling with dad:
Dad: Are you the kung-fu panda, Grace?
Grace: Yes. No wait, I am going to be the girl snake and you will be the kung-fu panda because your stomach is so fat.
OUCH!!! I probably would have really gotten my feelings hurt by that but luckily Ray doesn't really care and he just started laughing:) I asked him if he was okay with me posting this and he said that he's not ashamed of who he is :)

OH, I love to hear the things that kids say! they are too funny!
Gage & Ivy love tatoos too; I think the giant one across Jon's back may have something to do with that!!!
Ray sounds pretty cool; a comment like that would put me in tears! Although, recently I took my shorts off to go swimming and Gage said, "Wow, Mommy has fat legs." I didn't cry, but sure was bummed... I'm definitely aware of my thighs, and don't need a 6 year old to point it out! Oh well, I guess it's a good reminder that kids love you no matter what your body size/shape is!
Hey Becky, could you send me your current e-mail address? marychild@lycos.com
Thanks!
Hahahaha, ohhhhh Grace. Poor Ray, but I guess he talks about his belly so much himself that it's bound to rub off ;) Happy Anniversary a day late!! I thought of it yesterday, it's so funny you guys both forgot.
And I love the new background! It's "super cute!"
