Actually, Grace climbed up there a couple weeks ago when we saw the nest in a tree in our back yard. She was so excited about the eggs. I decided to climb the tree and see the eggs for myself. I leaned on a branch to steady myself and the branch broke, YIKES! I seriously almost fell out of the tree! I don't normally climb that high in trees, but I was attempting to complete my homework for a photography class I'm taking from my friend Misty. I risked life and limb for this shot, just sayin'...

Last time I tried something like that, not only did the limb come down, but nest and all eggs. Mother bird was very distraught.
I can just see it all now, dad. I actually haven't seen the mama bird in about a week. I made sure Grace didn't touch the nest when she climbed up there, but we have had soooo much rain that maybe it drove her away?
