No More Pencils, No More Books

Summer is here!! (?) It keeps teasing us. It was so cold the last week of school, then miraculously we had a gloriously warm weekend. But today we tried to go to the park and it was soooo cold, the wind was terrible. Honestly, I'm getting a little sick of it. I just want it to be warm already! Grace just told me what my summary sentence should be as she is reading over my shoulder. So here we go. Well, at least it's summer! (She's just so smart, isn't she? She is a second grader now, after all. :) )

We went on a little hike, well hike is stretching it a bit-it was more like a nature walk, this weekend. The weather was perfect, and I was reminded again about what a beautiful place in which we live!

This picture would've been so cute if I had gotten the lighting right!

Naomi isn't impressed with all the jumping, she just wants to eat that strap...

Here are some more pictures, just 'cause my kids are so cute...

Love the pictures. I sorta envy your camera... Alas.

We will share our weather. I am good till about 85, after that it is too hot. Add in 80% humidity and I am miserable. We were at 97 with 90% humidity yesterday. Bah! Today is cooler though.

Like the hiking and the jumping! THAT sounds like summer!

Darling, darling pictures. You are getting really good. Looks like a great weekend. If it would only stay that way.

Now I want to come visit Spokane again. Cascade on the 4th will have to do. Probably be cold there too. The pictures are great and the kids are cute. I know why you like that hiking photo so much - because you were not the one carrying Naomi. Right?
