Our favorite family Christmas present?
It only sat in my living room for 2.5 months.
It became a big huge coloring book for the kids.
They would jump on the box and say "I'm jumping on the trampoline!"
(sad, I know)

Well, now it is this!!

Last weekend we had some downright glorious weather.
We only had a little grumbling from dad when the suggestion was made...

2 hours later...

After some help from the kids...

Viola!
(Yes, Elliot did wear his pj's all day)

Seriously, whoever invented the trampoline is a gosh darn genius!!
I'm thinking Nobel Peace Prize,
talk about creating peace.
Al Gore and Prez Obama have nothin' on the trampoline-inventor guy,
but, well...oh never mind,
I'm trying to keep my blog non-political ;)
My kids haven't slept this well all winter...

Awesome can we come and play?
Anytime!!
Awesome stuff! We love ours too, even Asher likes running around it.
You're making me want to get a trampoline for my kids. How much did that cost Santa?
Amen, sista! Our kids live on our tramp. We have had other toys out there like teeter totters and swings, they're always neglected, but the tramp......boy does it get USED!
It cost Santa about $170 on black friday at Walmart ;)
I can see someone launching off the deck onto the trampoline. That's what I would do at least.
Colin
Now I know where my boys get their craziness. They just never stop. We are so getting one of these, someday.
Okay, Santa scored BIG TIME. I looked a little online and nothing even comes close to $170! I'm going to keep a watch on craigslist.
I think you did do similar stunts on or tramp, Colin (hillside to bench launch,) which tramp, by the way Becky, will be up with new pad when you and my grandchildren arrive next week. Good times will be had by all.
Dad
becky, with the croshaw luck, maybe you should require mouth guards for all participants.
That is a STEAL, Rebecca, ours was over $600 at Sams and the net contraption was totally destroyed by a windstorm- apparently, non-anchored trampolines fly if your yard is not fenced-in. As for jumping off the deck onto it, been there, done that at our house. It makes me crazy whenever I catch Valerie and company doing that, I can just "see" a slipped foot (or evil friend) causing a face-plant into the side of the deck railings.
For some reason, that reminds me of all the kids playing in the pool in Monterrey and then crashing afterward.
I've done the deck launch onto the trampoline before, at the Romriell's. One of the times, I bounced off and landed on my head. I'm sure that makes all you moms feel great...but I walked away, and I turned out okay, right? Right??
Uh-huh, sure you did Abby.....
