Last week I got to go with Elliot's preschool class on a field trip to the airport!

A little boy in Elliot's class has a dad who is the big boss over ground maintenance. He pretty much hooked us up.

We got to meet some firemen,
(check out the cool, shiny outfits they wear!)

We got to see the big snow moving machines
(which were hardly used at all this winter)
Elliot is cracking me up in the above pic :)

Elliot got to play with his friends under the big UPS plane,

Spend some time with his favorite teacher, Ms. Lisa,

And check out the flight deck!

We had such a fun day, Elliot was too pooped to even finish his cookie before zonking out :)
Thanks so much Colin's dad!!

What a fun field trip! When Dave worked at Microsoft we could get into the Boeing Flight Museum for free and I used to take Nathan and Aria a lot. They loved it.
what a great day. elliot is at such a wonderful age when things are so interesting and exciting. my favorite visitor when i student taught 4th grade was from the landfill. talk about fascinating! the parents were peppering him with questions. i love you elliot!!!!
love, grandma croshaw
I can't believe how old Elliot is looking!! It makes me sad we don't get to see you guys more. :(
How fun!!! What kid wouldn't love to go check out airplanes?
I would love that too! I have gone to the Dulles air and space museum about 8 times... maybe 9?? and I love it every time. The size of the engines is just amazing! What a fun trip and Dana is right, Elliot looks all grown up all the sudden.
i just have to add that elliot looking over at the firemen (i am assuming) with the firemen equipment is totally ray. i don't think i have ever seen him so like ray before.
That is awesome. I want to do the firehouse tour for playgroup sometime... if I can get my act together and call. :)
That is a great idea Danielle!!
LOL the last pic cracks me up.
No wonder he's so skinny. See, I would have eaten the whole cookie and then slept. What's the matter with that kid?
Grandpa
Elliot does look so grown up in these pictures! I also see Jack in him a little. I guess that would be the Croshaw influence. I can't wait to see you guys in a few months.
