Christmas!

Well, the big guy showed up.

Grace got a new bike

Elliot got a DSi, to replace his ds lite, which he gave to Grace. It's a win win. I actually really like this one because he can create and animate cartoons on it. It's pretty cool.

Photobucket
Maggie and Naomi each got a new baby doll.

We woke up to a foggy Christmas morning.

Photobucket
It was pretty crazy with 8 kids and 8 adults opening presents at the same time. But lots of fun!

Grace trying out her new crackle nail polish.

This is where Elliot spent most of the morning. :)

Grace showing off her days of the week socks.

Photobucket
Bailey indulging in a little of her own Christmas cheer! Actually every time I turned around she was eating some candy off the floor. Poor girl probably had a stomach ache by the time the day was over.

Photobucket
The kids spent the morning playing with each other's toys.

Photobucket
Beyblades...I had never heard of them until Christmas morning but apparently they are all the rage. Jack was very nice about letting all the kids play with his!

Someday I might be good at getting pictures of all my kids 10 minutes before we have to leave for church. But this was not that day! Naomi was cracking me up in this picture!

Photobucket
Everyone got to wear their new Christmas church clothes. Christmas on Sunday is awesome. I loved it.

Elliot has turned in to such a ham in front of the camera. :)

Okay, get ready to die from cuteness...

I couldn't pick just one!

Our Christmas feast! Prime rib, *drool*, mashed potatoes, stuffing, salad, and homemade crescent rolls, made by yours truly. I don't mean to toot my own horn, but they were SO GOOD!

Matt and Crystal gave us an awesome family gift, Just Dance Kids 2, which we got to by playing a bunch of awesome Christmas minute-to-win-it games! They were so fun. It was such a good idea, the kids loved it!

And that is how we rounded out our Christmas. It was so great to spend it with so much family. Thanks so much to Colin and Lori for hosting us all. Wonderful family memories were made. Now on to 2012!

Love this post! I think Christmas should be on Sunday every year. It ushers in the Spirit so beautifully, and it helps those without family nearby have a more focused purpose. We loved it too.

Your dinner looked amazing! I made frozen pizza :-)

Norah is a little chub-chub! Such a precious girl! The pictures are awesome!

just reread this today, Jan. 8, and it brings back so many great memories. i love how this life keeps giving us great memories. we have plenty of not so great times going on, but seeing all this just gives me a little glimpse of the 'neverending happiness' that is in store for all of us. xoxoxoxoxo to my wonderful family, near or not-so-near and far.
