The kids and I drove down to Pocatello for spring break this year. This is kind of becoming our spring break tradition, we did it last year anyway, but this year my sister Dana was there with her new sweet baby Ila Jo. (named after yours truly!!) I really don't like making that drive by myself, but my friend suggested I get a book on tape to listen to during the drive. I took her advice and it helped SO much. The drive went fast and I wasn't slapping myself to stay awake. Anyway, I didn't take hardly any pictures and I'm kicking myself about it because it was the first time they had seen their cousins in almost a year. But we had a great time!!
I did take some pictures of the sidewalk chalk hopscotch session.

Unfortunately it took place before the other cousins got there...
I loved this brave little flower breaking through all the deadness around it. It gave me hope for spring. (because we froze our rear ends off the whole time we were there!)
The one and only picture I got of all the cousins together. I didn't even get any pictures of Ila. I'm lame. (love the shower cap mom!) But if you want to see Ila go
here :)

What good luck for all of you guys! I ONLY travel with books on tape when i go away. It actually makes me halfway look forward to the drive...
I have a couple observations:
1) Naomi looks so much like Maggie last time I saw Maggie that it is like she has not changed at all- realizing, no, that is Naomi is exciting/sad.
2) Eva's hair color (and HAIR) is gorgeous
3) There is a little girl I do not recognize at all in the hot tub- is that really Maggie?! and...
4)It makes me really, really sad that everyone is so far away from us ;-) Maybe one year far, far away
Spring break "home" is an excellent idea, I heartily concur. I bet it was excellent seeing nieces, nephews, sister and mom all at once.
Crystal, I agree, it is sad :(
