Congratulations Jez!!!

Ray and I went to Logan this past weekend to attend Ray's brother Jez's college graduation (thanks again, mom, for watching all 3 kids!!  Gotta love grandmas!).  He got a bachelor's degree in Business.  Yes, you counted right, he did this all while having 5 children and working full time to boot!!  We are so proud of Jez and Trina for this amazing accomplishment.  If any of you know Jez from his former life you can realize and appreciate how far he has come and what a truly amazing accomplishment this is for him and his family. He is such a good, faithful man with such a huge heart.  Ray always talks about what a good example Jez is to him.  He and Trina are such good parents.  I didn't hear either of them raise their voice one time to any of those precious little kids, and believe me, having 5 children (including a 5 month old) at a college graduation for 4 hours is no easy feat!!  We are so happy for and proud of Jez and we are excited to see what new adventures their life will now bring!!

On a side note, I haven't been in Logan for a really long time and I was once again reminded of how stunningly beautiful it is.  It is such a pristine place.  The Wellsvilles were absolutely killing me!!  Logan is one of my favorite places in the world, if you ever get the chance to visit, I highly recommend it!

Those brothers don't see each other very often, but you can tell they love each other. Jez is amazing! Trina too, it couldn't be easy watching all those kids while Jez was working and going to school. Look at the life they're making for themselves. It's pretty incredible. It just goes to show you are in charge of your own life, you can change it if you want.

Is Jez younger than Ray? I thought he was, but 5 kids, whoa, that takes some time!

Congratulations to Ray, and Becky, I could not agree more: Logan is one of my favorite places too! So many memories, so much growing up, a bit of little stumbling, a little bit of accomplishment, a little too much work, and LOTS of fun! Ahhhh.... memories.

I also forgot to mention that Jez was the executive secretary in his ward for the last 6 YEARS!! For those of you non-mormons, that is A LOT of work!!

Mary, Jez is younger than Ray by 2 years. He and Trina have been married for about 9 1/2 years. Everyone kept asking if we were going to try and keep up with Jez and Trina and my answer was a definite no!! I know myself and I know I couldn't handle that!!

I know I couldn't handle 5 either! In fact, I'm barely handling three, and that depends on how you define "handle"!

Congrats again to Jez and all his accomplishments! It's so rewarding to see the culmination of years of hard work, and now, to start a new chapter in life. Congratulations!

Becky, when do you guys make the leap to Spokane?

Mary, we leave for Spokane in about 3 weeks. We close on our house here on May 28, Grace's last day of school is May 29, then we go. Ray has been in Spokane for about a week. He comes back in about 2 weeks to help pack, then we will all drive back together. I am really excited!!

Thanks for all the sweet comments. Really I couldn't do it without a lot of help. Jez has been amazing in being able to take care of all his responsibilities. He always puts us first, no matter what.
