Easter

Cascade, ID with family for Easter.  It doesn't get much better!

It was a balmy 39 degrees the morning of the Cascade easter egg hunt. Brrrr!

Spring Break 2012

This year for spring break we stuck around Spokane.  We did take a day trip to Palouse Falls with some of our friends.  It's the first time I've seen these spectacular falls.

It was this girls birthday.  She turned 5.

We caught a rainbow on the water right before we left.

Valentine's Day Cookie Tradition

Yep, we had another Valentine's day in 2012.  And we decorated cookies again.













And here's a random picture I took for a photo contest.  The subject was "hands".

Holy Cow, I can't believe it's been 8 months...

...since I last blogged.  It's not that I've stopped taking pictures.  It's just that life has become so insanely busy, my blogging has suffered.  And once you take a little while off, it's way to easy to just let it go.  And Instagram, oh Instagram (do you follow me? ;) ).  It has become a family journal in itself, via iPhone.  But I don't want to give up blogging.  Because this IS my family journal.  And it allows me to practice something I love, photography.  I do it for posterity.  I get blog books printed every year and my kids LOVE them.  They look at them and read them all the time.

So I'm just going to pick up where I left off.  Last February.  Wow.

Elliot participated in wrestling this past winter.  He really liked it.

Seriously, getting these kids to cooperate with my photography is a full time job.



This was his last tournament.
